About HTS
Hunter Tech Services Pty Ltd (HTS) is a private family owned and operated company specialising in Asbestos Removal and Management, Demolition and Soil Remediation. Along with our core business we also undertake in conjunction with those core activities civil, construction and mechanical projects.
HTS is based on the OneSteel Industrial Park at Mayfield NSW from where it services domestic, commercial and industrial requirements across NSW.
Whilst HTS is relatively a young company by its years of operation it is senior in its depth of experience in the levels of management, operations and supervision. This range of experience brings to the HTS client base some eighty plus years of experience in fields of Asbestos, Demolition and Industrial Services. HTS carries an Unrestricted Demolition License and a Friable Asbestos License registered with WorkCover NSW.
An amount of our asbestos and demolition work has called for quick response and to that end HTS has been able to provide that service to its clients. HTS is fortunate through its close association to have a good repour with the senior people in WorkCover and this has proven to be invaluable to be able to give services required to its clients.
HTS has maintained a high standard of safety and this was endorsed by the Workers Compensation insurer reviewing the insurance premiums and coming back with a reduced premium for 08-09. As an adjunct to that the OneSteel Group Mayfield nominated HTS for its national safety award. This award is judged across Australia for all OneSteel sites sub contractors and HTS has taken that nomination to become the winner of that award across OneSteel tube mills of Australia and was presented with the award at a dinner presentation in Brisbane on the 6th July 2009.
As an organisation we are not unaccustomed to working in remote areas throughout NSW and would consider any project that was put on offer. HTS under took asbestos reduction and elimination work on all effected PCYC buildings in NSW, and completed their properties as far south as Albury, west to Broken Hill and as far north as Armidale and many points in between. This project was carried out in conjunction with an occupational hygienist company andhad no issues to inhibit the operations of those establishments while asbestos has been removed and replacement materials reinstated.
